February 21, 2011

Just a couple Makayla isms! She has been so funny lately! I can't get enough of her giggles! She thinks it's hilarious to back seat drive. She teases us saying red light go, green light stop! When we try to correct her she just bursts out laughing and says it again!
She also likes to play hide and seek! This week she was hiding by covering her eyes with her toque in the car. She says mom I'm hiding! So I count and say ready or not here I come or boo! She absolutely kills herself! She was laughing so hard she snorted!
It was so funny! She definitely never let's there be a dull moment!

Daddy Daughter Time

Makayla loves spending time with Daddy watching hockey, wearing "hockey shirts" and even went to a game  or two with him! She went to a charity game and got the puck that Sean Horcoff scored with! She is in love with Sean Horcoff now and talks about him every time hockey is on!

Isn't this "favalous"

Why do we even bother buying toys?
We have so many toys yet this is the favorite lately! Everyday for the last week or so she sits in this diaper box and plays and plays! It's a sled, baby bed, hiding place, a place for a picnic among other "favalous" things! I love how creative and content is just to play! She constantly amazes me with new words and things to play! Everything lately is "favoulous"!

Diva much!

This is La sporting her new jacket Grandma got her in Phoenix! And when wearing said jacket she also must have her purse! Every time we try to leave the house, this is what we hear..."wait a second, wait a second...I ahmost agot my purse...I ahmost agot my purse" Once she remembers said purse, she always has to carry it up on her shoulder! She always keeps me on my toes!

Make your own pizza! March 1, 2011

We had build your own pizza for supper! Makayla was all over it! So easy and so yummy! Notice her toppings pineapple, ham, more pineapple, and cheese! When its all cooked all she will eat is the toppings not the crust! This girl does not love her carbs...

Jumping...jumping everywhere

Makayla loves to jump! I am pretty sure she has springs in her legs. She jumps everywhere and anywhere. She jump around the mall, off the couch, off the stairs, onto people, just about anytime. It is kinda scary when without notice she flies at you! She gives her babysitter, "Claudia", a heart attack several times a week with her spontaneous jumping! She has almost no fear and is often found climbing or following the older kids! (Especially if it means she can jump of the deck or something!)
We are enrolling her into gymnastics for the spring session! I have a feeling she will quite enjoy it and that the teachers will be glad parents have to attend with their kids at her age!

Telus World of Science

February 10, 2010
We went with the Nickle family to Telus world of science today! Makayla loved it! She was so excited to look at her fingerprint through the magnifying glass! Her other favorite thing was the water table area. She played there for 2 hours and was still mad about having to leave! She was soaked and boy was I glad I had an extra pair of clothes for her. She had so much fun and for a change I was the fun mom! All the other moms wouldn't let their kids play cause their sleeves were getting wet! Makayla had water leaking into her boots!

Does this last picture totally remind you of Maddi? I think so!

My latest obsession!

So I got an iphone 4 for Christmas! I love it and have been totally over killiing my family with pictures and emails from it cause it just so easy! I had a brain fart yesterday...why dont I add them to my blog that seriously lacks information and attention! So today I am going to try to add them here. Enjoy!

Day 4-Your Siblings and Parents

Well I have been going over this blog in my head for several weeks, unable to make it make sense and to really protray the message I want it to.
First, my siblings. I am the 5th of 6 kids in my family. We all live far away from each other. I live in Edmonton, I have a sister in Ottawa, a sister in Texas, a sister and brother in Southern Alberta and a brother in Manitoba.
It often amazes me how all growing up with the same parents we could turn out so different! I love and appreciate our differences and wish there were more times that we could all get together.
My parents...live in Southern Alberta, and are busy doing their things! We don't see them as often as I would like either.
